EDUCATIONAL TIME
4 days (30 hours). The number of theoretical hours is 7 hours (on-line), the number of practical hours is 23 hours (attendance education).
The courses are held from Wednesday to Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Participants in the course are prepared to organize and lead sports activities on the water. The participants gain knowledge about natural waters, the rules of water transport and the health-preserving effects of these activities.
During the training, the participants acquire such versatile knowledge that they are able to serve and help healthy and health-seeking people with sports for water tourism purposes.
The goal to be achieved is to the participants have a wide range of knowledge related to water sports activities, which serves the clientele. This is necessary due to the spread of water tourism.
COMPETENCES
Those who complete the course will be able to plan and lead water tours, as well as hold the preparatory sessions professionally.
Participants know how to operate hand-operated devices. The theoretical and practical foundations of different types of hand-powered devices (touring canoes, touring kayaks, kite boats, SUP). They know the most important rules for organizing and conducting water tours and camps.
CONTENT
1. Assessment of swimming skills, accident protection education, Requirements, conditions for completing the course. Teambuilding training.
2. Short history of the development of water tourism. Interdisciplinary relationship with other disciplines, e.g. environmental protection, geography, biology, etc.
3. The physiological effects of kayaking, canoeing, kite sailing and SUP, and their importance in the process of health promotion and health education.
4. Geographical environment, hydrographic conditions and their suitability for sports activities.
5. Aspects of organizing water tours. Basic knowledge animation skills.
6. Water tours – for excursion and tourist purposes – on domestic and international routes.
7. Basic servicing and maintenance of ships. Knowledge of technical language.
8. First aid theory and practice
9. Warming up, winter foundation – importance of training. Recreational training planning.
10. Water tour – route planning based on specified criteria. Form of work: group session.
11. Kayak exercise.
12. Practicing kayak technique.
13. Canoe practice.
14. Canoe technique practice.
15. Kite sailing/touring canoe practice.
16. Kite sailing/touring canoe practice.
17. SUP exercise.

Rowing 300 m in a boat of your choice
in a touring canoe (slalom paddling, with turn).
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE
Active participation in 90% of the lessons. Oral exam, practical presentation, with a chosen aquatic device.
It is not possible to make up for absences, in case of absences from classes or exams, a certificate must be submitted (health problems, family reasons).
